Beside the River Stour
From Colchester
Take the A120 towards Harwich. 4 miles after Horsley Cross roundabout turn left into Primrose Lane at the large sign to Wrabness Station. At the crossroads go straight into Rectory Road/Primrose Hill. At the Station follow round to the left into Station Road. Take the next right into Church Road. Pass the Church on your right, go round the left hand bend (and look at the view). Oakfield Wood is down the hill on the right.
From Ipswich
Take the A137 to Manningtree. At the station turn left and pass through the town. Continue on the coastal road towards Harwich. Turn left at Bradfield Church on to the B1352. After 1.75 miles turn left into Wheatsheaf Lane. Go down the hill, under the railway bridge. Oakfield Wood is on the left, after Wheatsheaf Close and Wall Lane.

From Guildford
Take the A281 to Shalford. At Shalford turn left onto the A248. Within about half a mile turn right onto the B2128 to Wonersh and Shamley Green. pass through Shamley Green and travel for about 1.5 miles towards Cranleigh. Oakfield Wood is located on the Guildford Road on the right hand side.
From Horsham
Take the A281 towards Guildford. After about 9 miles turn right onto the B2130 to Cranleigh for about one mile. Turn left at the T junction onto the B2128 towards Shamley Green. Bear right on to the Guildford Road at the roundabout junction with Run Common Road. Oakfield Wood is on the left.

An established wood, lying adjacent to Culford School playing fields on the B1106 on the north side of Culford Village, about 3 miles north of Bury St Edmunds.
From Bury St Edmunds
From the A14 at the Sugar Beet Factory, take the A134 towards Thetford. Turn left at the second roundabout towards Culford. At the cross roads turn right onto the B1106, pass Culford School and you will see Oakfield Wood on your left at the left bend.
From Thetford
Take the A134 and at Ingham (2 miles north of Bury), turn right onto the B1106, pass Culford School and you will see Oakfield Wood on your left at the left bend.

In Baughton Lane adjacent to the Severn Trent Water facility.
Go to Junction 1 on the M50 and travel north on the A38 towards Worcester. Turn right at the Bluebell Public house. After about 3 miles, turn left at the T junction and travel over the M5. Take the first left and Oakfield Wood is approximately 500 yards on the left.
